The black and white pictures...

Here's my attempt to  mess around w/ some camera settings and the editing tools at picnik.com.  I really enjoy working w/ black and white so here's some evidence.

This shot just cracks me up.  She's saying something to him and he's just riveted by her.

I'm thrilled at how I caught the shadow of the tree on the perfect snow!

The Camelia.  Not very big but it brings me joy when it blooms in Nov/Dec - something about my northern roots make it inspirational to see anything blooming that late in the year.  And the smell is phenomenal.  Definitely worthy of its own picture!

Was messing around w/ the camera settings this morning and caught these of Nattie while she was 'helping' me garden. I think she looks beautiful.

And I have finally finished Patrick's room. I think it is adorable... Yay me for finally recovering some teensy shred of creativity in time!

Nattie's Big Girl Room!

I'll have to post a few more pics when we get some of the decorations on her walls but she was so excited (as were we) about her new furniture that I figured I'd share the photos with everyone. Her new room looks adorable and she did great last night. I was wondering if she'd get scared at the last minute and want to go back to her old room but after a little tossing and turning she conked out and slept great all night. Way to go Nattie!
